The 8th International Conference on Supercapacitors and Related Materials

Supercapacitors, also known as ultracapacitors or electrochemical capacitors, are high-performance energy storage devices. Compared to traditional batteries or capacitors, supercapacitors have numerous advantages, including extremely high power density, fast charge-discharge rates, and long cycle life. One of their key characteristics is the ability to quickly charge and discharge at high power, allowing them to rapidly store and release large amounts of electrical energy. This makes them suitable for applications that require instantaneous high-power output.

In order to promote the development of supercapacitor devices, key materials, and related technologies, address bottleneck issues, and facilitate the sustained and orderly integration of China's supercapacitor industry, the "8th International Conference on Supercapacitors and Related Materials," organized by Tianjin University, the Energy Storage Engineering Professional Committee of the China Chemical Society, and the editorial department of "Energy Storage Science and Technology," will be held from July 21st to 23rd, 2023, at the Li Cheng Hotel in Tianjin Binhai.
