The achievement of carbon neutrality goals has spurred the development of the new energy industry. With increasing demand for emissions reduction, there has been rapid progress in new energy materials and technologies, with widespread applications of clean energy sources such as solar and wind power. The emergence of the new energy industry has stimulated research and development investments and innovation, driving the energy transition. Breakthroughs in key technologies like fuel cells and energy storage have provided sustainable solutions for carbon neutrality, playing a positive role in promoting economic growth, improving environmental quality, and building a more sustainable future. Germany has certain advantages in the field of new energy materials research, making it necessary to strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation between China and Germany in this area.
To promote the development of advanced new energy materials science and technology in China and enhance exchanges and cooperation with German universities, institutions, and companies, Northwestern University is pleased to announce the "2023 Bilateral Symposium on Advanced Energy Materials in China" to be held in the ancient city of Xi'an from August 2nd to 4th, 2023. The conference invites domestic and foreign experts and scholars in the field of new energy materials to gather in Xi'an, focusing on fundamental, applied, and frontier issues in the development of new energy materials. The symposium aims to facilitate the exchange of latest advancements and breakthroughs, strengthen research cooperation and technology transfer, and discuss opportunities, challenges, and future directions in the field.
NEWARE will attend the meeting and hope to see you there.
