In 2022, Hunan became a new lithium mining area, joining Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, and Jiangxi as one of China's lithium mining regions. Chenzhou in Hunan is rich in lithium mineral resources, with proven lithium oxide reserves exceeding 5 million metric tons. In recent years, Chenzhou has adhered to the strategy of attracting investment across the entire industry chain. Companies in the upstream, midstream, downstream, and battery dismantling and recycling sectors have gathered here. Currently, seven projects covering the entire industry chain have been successfully contracted, involving companies such as Shanghai Ane, Dazhong Mining, Kelecny, Anzhong Corporation, ZhiCun Lithium, Dawei Technology, and Ningxia Hanyao, with a total investment exceeding 140 billion RMB. To further promote comprehensive utilization throughout the industry chain, it is planned to hold the "China Chenzhou Lithium Resource Innovation and Application Summit." The summit's theme, "Gathering with 'Lithium' in Chenzhou, Discussing a Green Future," aims to attract expertise and wisdom to Chenzhou for exchange, ultimately achieving the overall goal of "exchanging good resources for good industries."
This conference will adhere to the principle of "technology serving industry" by showcasing the latest research and industrial achievements in the field of lithium batteries and lithium materials. It aims to address academic and technical issues related to development, promote collaboration between academia, industry, and research institutions, and facilitate the transformation of technological achievements. Through forums, technology-industry matchmaking meetings, and other forms of communication, the summit will discuss hot topics and trends in lithium resource extraction and high-end applications. Renowned scholars, entrepreneurs, and investors from around the world will attend the conference to explore the development of the lithium resource and related material industries. It will provide decision-making and advisory suggestions for the development of new energy battery-related industries in Hunan Province and offer recommendations for the development of the battery industry in Chenzhou, attracting talent and investment.
The organizing committee will invite more than 300 well-known domestic and international experts, scholars, and industry elites in the field of lithium resource applications to participate in the conference. Through forums, technology-industry matchmaking meetings, and other forms of exchange, the conference will focus on academic and technical exchanges and collaboration between academia, industry, and research institutions. It aims to boost the development of the battery and materials industry in Chenzhou and even the whole country, ushering in a new era of growth!
