The 3rd International Forum on Emerging Functional Materials and Devices and
the 2023 Chemical-Materials-Biomedical Frontier Cross-Disciplinary Innovation Forum Conference
"The 3rd International Forum on Emerging Functional Materials and Devices, and the 2023 Chemical-Materials-Biomedical Frontier Cross-Disciplinary Innovation Forum" is scheduled to be held in Dongguan, Guangdong from September 1st to 3rd, 2023. The forum is organized by the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Materials Research Society and Sun Yat-sen University, with the support of Sun Yat-sen University's School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Advanced Energy Technology, School of Medicine, Seventh Affiliated Hospital, State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies, and Dongguan Institute of Sun Yat-sen University. The event is jointly co-sponsored by the Inorganic Chemistry Discipline Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, the Young Chemists Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, the Imaging Materials and Technology Branch of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, the National Key Laboratory of Green Hydrogen and Electric Power, and the Beijing Key Laboratory of Magnetoelectric Functional Materials and Devices.
The forum aims to promote interdisciplinary integration and discuss the latest developments in emerging functional materials and devices, particularly in areas such as magnetic nanostructures and molecular magnets, two-dimensional and spin quantum materials and devices, electromagnetic shielding materials, energy conversion and storage, biochemistry and medical materials, hydrogen energy, and catalytic materials. The conference will also focus on international frontier material development and key technologies with industrialization and market application prospects.
This forum intends to foster cross-disciplinary innovation in line with the new material technology and industrial "14th Five-Year Plan". It aims to explore the forefront and trends in emerging functional materials and devices, as well as the cross-disciplinary integration of chemistry, materials, and biomedical sciences. The event provides a platform to present outstanding research achievements in related interdisciplinary fields, and facilitate exchange and collaboration among peers. Scholars and experts engaged in research on emerging functional materials and related interdisciplinary fields, both domestically and internationally, are cordially invited to participate in discussions.
