Currently, the integration of disciplines is an inevitable trend in future scientific development and a crucial driving force for accelerating technological innovation. Strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration and seeking new research paradigms are essential for rapid advancements in science and technology. Against this backdrop, the preparation of the "Science Next" (SCINEXT) series of academic conferences aims to establish a platform for promoting interdisciplinary fusion, cross-disciplinary development, and knowledge translation.
The "2023 Hangzhou ChemMat+ International Summit" is one of the SCINEXT series summits jointly initiated by WILEY Publishing Group and Zhejiang University of Technology. With the theme of "Frontier Integration of Energy Chemistry and Materials," this summit invites domestic and international experts and scholars in the field of energy chemistry and materials to engage in in-depth discussions on hot research topics and future trends in energy storage and conversion. It showcases the latest research progress and achievements in the field of energy chemistry and materials from both domestic and international perspectives.
The conference will primarily discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by energy chemistry and materials as emerging disciplines in the context of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality." By integrating resources and collaborating effectively, it aims to promote discipline development, talent cultivation, technological advancement, and industrial upgrading within the energy sector.
