The 1st Western New Energy and Energy Storage Technology Symposium and the China Silicate Society Solid State Ionics Branch Aid to Xinjiang Science Popularization Education Event
The 1st Western New Energy and Energy Storage Technology Symposium, organized by the Solid State Ionics Branch of the China Silicate Society and the Xinjiang Association for Science and Technology, and hosted by Xinjiang University of Technology and Hesheng Silicon Industry Co., Ltd., together with the aid to Xinjiang science popularization education event by the China Silicate Society Solid State Ionics Branch, will be held from October 20th to 24th, 2023, in Aksu, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
This symposium aims to address the widespread demand for advanced electrochemical energy storage technologies with high safety, long lifespan, and low cost for new energy generation such as photovoltaics and wind power, as well as smart grids in Xinjiang. It intends to facilitate the exchange of the latest progress and achievements in new energy materials and energy storage research, explore solutions to key bottlenecks and frontier scientific issues in practical applications of secondary batteries and energy storage technologies. The focus will be on scientific and technical cooperation, academic exchange, and promotion of advanced technologies in the field of new energy and energy storage in Xinjiang. Moreover, the organizers will also form an expert service team to conduct science popularization lectures and activities on new energy and energy storage for local primary and secondary school students, enhancing their understanding of modern civilization and science and guiding them to actively participate in modern life.
This conference sincerely welcomes scientists, researchers, and developers engaged in research and development of new energy materials, secondary batteries, fuel cells, and energy storage technology. They are encouraged to actively participate and contribute to the improvement of academic research and engineering technology levels in the field of new energy and energy storage, as well as to accelerate the realization of the national, especially Xinjiang's "peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality" strategic goals.
